Maison en belles lies is the creation of Pierre Fenals who is based in Saint-Aubin, Burgundy. At the age of 52, after a career in fashion and garment, Pierre Fenals decided to change his life to devote himself to his passion, return to the land and make wine. He embraced biodynamic philosophy of farming, trained with the legends of winemaking like Marcel Lapierre and Emmanuel Giboulot, and in 2002 he bought the first 2.5 hectares of vines. Since then, he’s been making absolutely stunning and pure wines that show the beauty of Burgundian terroir. Pierre uses the same principles for all of his wines, which are natural vinification, no fining, no filtration and zero SO2.
