Lammidia (translated as “the evil eye” in Abruzzo dialect) is a joint project of Davide Gentile and Marco Giuliani based in the small province of Pescara. The winery, which has become a cult in the natural wine world, was named like this after Davide’s grandma successfully performed a local ritual to get rid of “l’ammidia” when a fermentation got stuck once. The wines of Lammidia are made without any additions and stabilizers, which gives them a lot of unique energy and character. S02 is never added to the wines, even in tiny amounts.
