La Salada is a Catalan wine project in Penedès, managed by Toni Carbó and Anna Serra. The project is a tribute to Toni’s great grandfather - the grapes for its wines come from plots that Toni’s great grandfather bought from a wealthy landowner in order to secure his family’s future. After founding the winery a decade ago, they immediately started practicing radical winemaking with chemical-free farming and zero additions in the cellar. La Salada are focused on working with indigenous grape varieties, preserving them and revealing their true potential.
