Johannes Zillinger comes from Weinviertel in Lower Austria. His family embraced biodynamic farming around 40 years ago and they’ve been farming this way ever since. Zillinger often applies experimental techniques to winemaking. His series of wines “Revolution” is produced with the Solera method, blending different vintages of a wine in certain proportions. Johannes also experiments with different vessels for his wines, for example by using clay amphora a lot.
